Fall 2024 Recreational Program

The Vaqueritos Spring Recreational Soccer is all about providing a fun, learning experience for our boys and girls, ages 4 to 13! Our program always focuses on introducing and building key technical soccer skills in a way that is exciting and challenging!


As players improve, they will become more confident and fall deeper in love with our beautiful game. Whether it is their first time on the field or they are returning for another season, every child will develop in a manner that sets them up for success!

  • Registration Information

    • $195 on or before January 31, 2025; will receive the $10 discount off fees at the end of registration
    • $205 starting on February 1, 2025
    • $255 starting on March 1, 2025, placed on the waitlist

  • Spring Age Group Matrix & Format

    • U6:  2020 | 2021
    • U8:  2018 | 2019
    • U10:  2016 | 2017
    • U12:  2014 | 2015
    • U14:  2012 | 2013

    GAME FORMAT: 

    Divisions and format are subject to change based on age group numbers and bracket play needs.

    • U6 Co-ed Division: 3v3 or 4v4, Size 3 Ball
    • U8 Division: 7v7, Size 4 Ball
    • U10 Division: 7v7, Size 4 Ball
    • U12 Division: 9v9, Size 4 Ball
    • U14 Division: 11v11, Size 5 Ball

  • Player Clinic Program

    • Clinics are run by Vaqueros FC Directors and Coaching Staff.  
    • Other coaching professionals are hired for any supplemental staffing needs.
    • Clinics begin the week of March 10, 2025, and will be held on Fridays.
    • There will be no clinics or games the week of PUSD District Recess, April 11-20, 2025

  • Saturday Games

    • The first game of our eight-match schedule will be on Saturday, March 22, 2025
    • The season concludes with our last game on Saturday, May 16, 2025
    • No clinics or games during PUSD District Recess April 13-20, 2025

    LOCATIONS


    Clinics and practices are within the city of Poway at the following facilities: Garden Road Park, Hilleary Park, Meadowbrook Middle School, Silverset Neighborhood Park, Valley Elementary, and Valle Verde Park.


    OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS


    Unfortunately, there will be no make-ups due to weather and/or circumstances we can not control (e.g., city field closures, etc.).


    You may request to play with a friend, but there are NO guarantees. Friend requests are NOT considered unless the player chooses a friend that chooses them back.


    Multiple friend requests will NOT be considered, as this can create unbalanced teams.


    Refunds will NOT be issued if friend requests are not granted.

    SIBLING DISCOUNT: $25.00 - Need to register players at the same time and the discount will be automatically applied to the second child.
